Roast Battle Canada: Season One – TV Series
A total blast to be the video editor and post supervisor for the entire first season of the Canadian launch of Roast Battle Canada, the Canadian version of the incredibly popular Comedy Central series, created by Jeff Ross. Nominated for three 2022 Canadian Screen Awards: Best Sketch Comedy Series, Best Performance (Sketch Comedy), Best Direction (Variety or Sketch).The 8 x 30 Hosted by Ennis Esmer and featuring celebrity judges / Canadian comedy legends, Russell Peters, Sabrina Jalees, and Letterkenny’s K. Trevor Wilson, who judge the two stand-up comedians on stage as they brutally roast each other.
I did all the video editing with a crazy amount of multicam (12 angles!), edited the stylized "Challenge Videos" where the comedians goof around with one another while being interviewed, and also post supervised the series.
